Submissions for Issue 02 will be open from August 25th to October 3rd. Please be sure to get your submission in before this deadline to be considered! The Griot's Pen is a literary magazine dedicated to amplifying the voices of writers of color. The Griot's Pen seeks to celebrate diversity in literature, offering a space where stories of identity, history, and community can thrive. 

•  Must be 13-25 years old 

• Submissions must be 2 pages or less

• Submissions can be a writing style of your choice

• Writer must be POC (Black, Asian, Indigenous, Middle Eastern, Pacific Islander, Multi-Racial, Hispanic/Lantix, and/or other non-white populations)
